Tried to post this last night but something wonk happened.

Anyway, as some of you may have heard by now, early Saturday morning a drunk driver crashed her car into the SLG offices. No one was hurt, fortunately, but the damage was considerable. There aren't any pictures of the car, but check out the tire marks on the carpet and the damage inflicted as the woman tried to put the car in reverse and hightail it out of there.

Of course, on the Comics Journal message board the thread about the incident quickly went from "what happened?" to "this happened" to snarky comments about Jhonen Vasquez and SLG's output. I wonder if a car had gone through D&Q's office or the Fantagraphics house, or the Oni office or Top Shelf's digs, would people start to critique the publisher and take shots at the creators they publish that they don't like? Then again, it is the internet, where most folks would rather post their brilliant sarcasm than put it into their comics. Whatever. SLG is already up and running, whether some folks like it or not.
